Privacy policy

Effective July 20, 2026 (added the Chewy supplies-links paragraph; first published July 18, 2026).

The short version: this is a static reference site. There is nothing to sign up for, we set no cookies, and we collect as close to nothing about you as a website can.

What we collect directly

Nothing. The site has no accounts, no login, no forms, no comments and no newsletter. The only way to contact us is email ([email protected]); if you write to us we see whatever you choose to send, and we use it only to reply.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see aggregate traffic: page views, referrers, countries and browser types. It is cookieless and does not build individual visitor profiles or track you across other sites. The measurement script is not part of our site's code — Cloudflare, our host, adds it automatically as pages are served.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes connection data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and protect the site; see the Cloudflare privacy policy for how they handle it. We do not receive or store those logs ourselves.

Links to vendors

Price rows link to vendor product pages. Once you follow a link, that vendor's own privacy policy applies. Links to The Shrimp Farm carry an affiliate referral tag in the URL so that their site can credit us if you make a purchase — the tag identifies this site, not you, and we send no personal data with it. Any tracking after the click (such as cookies on their site) is governed by their privacy policy. Links to every other vendor carry no tracking or affiliate parameters. See how we make money.

Separately, morph pages contain clearly disclosed supplies links to Chewy, a pet retailer that sells no live shrimp. These route through Impact, Chewy's affiliate network, which records the click and may set cookies on the pages you land on so a purchase can be credited to this site. That happens after you leave — this site itself still sets no cookies and sends nothing about you to Chewy or Impact. Their practices are governed by Chewy's privacy policy and Impact's privacy policy.

Advertising

There are no ads on this site today. If we ever add advertising, we will update this policy first to say exactly what the ad partner collects, before any ads appear.
